Discover Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang: Canyoning in Bali
The Hidden Canyon of Beji Guwang is one of the most fun ways to go canyoning in Bali, and it's only about 30 minutes from Ubud. With a local guide, you trek, wade and swim through three limestone canyons near Sukawati, far away from the busy tourist spots.
Expect to balance along narrow ledges, swim through clear pools and, at one point, cross the river hanging on a rope. That part needs some upper-body strength: if you can do about 5 pull-ups, you're good. The guide stays with you the whole time and shows you exactly where to place your feet.
The trek itself takes around two hours, so it fits easily into half a day. Come in the dry season, wear shoes with good grip and get ready to get wet!
