The DIMB Würmtal Trails in Gauting are the go-to spot for mountain biking near Munich. Volunteers from the DIMB have built six trails in the forest above the Würm river, with about 3.5 km of riding in total.

They're graded like ski slopes, so everyone finds their line:

Blue: Burgstein and Würmflow, flowy and beginner-friendly (Würmflow has a black option)

Red: Plumber, Rockdrop and G'Würm for intermediate riders

Black: Bermingham for experienced riders

The trails are free and open to everyone, and you can reach them by S-Bahn from Munich. Grab your bike and shred!
