Discover Schliersee Day Trip: Alpine Coaster & Lake Jumps
A Schliersee day trip is the perfect mix of mountain fun and lake time, and it's easy to reach from Munich. Hike up to the Schliersbergalm, race back down on the alpine coaster (Sommerrodelbahn), then cool off with a jump into the crystal-clear lake.
Do the hike first and chill at the lake afterwards: the alpine coaster usually closes around 5 PM (check the official website). The jumps are at the Strandbad Schliersee, a lido with a 1 m and a 3 m board. Entry is paid, but after 5 PM you usually get a discounted price.
The Strandbad also has a restaurant with good food, or you can bring your own picnic. Grab your swimsuit and go!
